Your Luxitag Pet ID tag will have your pet’s name on one side of the tag, and the other side the QR code linking to your pet’s profile page. Your pet’s profile page will have the following information:

• Pet Name
• Pet/Owner Address
• Owner Phone Number
• Three (3) actionable buttons:
  • Button to immediatly provide map directions to the Pet/Owner address
  • Button to speed dial owner
  • Button to send owner map directions to the exact latitude and longitude point where your pet’s Luxitag Pet ID tag was scanned
• Veterinarian Name
• Veterinarian Address
• Veterinarian Phone Number
• Pet Allergies

The GPS pet location notification feature from Luxitag will provide the owner with a notification, directly to the owner’s email inbox, containing a link with the precise coordinates to where the device the Luxitag was scanned.

Upon scanning the tag, the device user will receive a popup requesting for permissions to access current GPS location. When the device user clicks the SEND LOCATION button, our code will send a pre-generated email containing the link with the precide coordinates of where the tag was scanned to the owner’s inbox.

The owner can then use the link for directions to where the Luxitag Pet ID tag was scanned.

Luxitag Pet ID tags are contructed from highly polished stainless steel with smooth edges and measure 25mm x 25mm.

Our stainless steel tags are non-tarnish and hypo-allergenic.

The stainless steel blanks are engraved with our high wattage laser diode engraver. We take an extra step by applying marking additive in the engraving process to ensure a deep, beyond the surface, engraving. This extra step provides a dark engraved pet ID QR code and enhanced readability of the QR code on the mirror finished tag.

We offer stainless steel pet ID tags with three (3) mirror polish finishes:

During the checkout process of your Luxitag Pet ID tag the information you wish to be displayed on your pet profile page will be collected.

When you receive your Luxitag Pet ID all the information provided can be accessed via the QR code on your tag.

The Luxitag Pet ID can be replaced. The QR code accessible information provided on your pet profile page is safe, retrievable, and secure. Please contact us to order a replacement tag linked to your pet profile page.

All Android phones have native, ‘built-in’ QR code readers in the phone camera. All iPhone devices running iOS 11 or later will be natively compatible with QR.

The Luxitag Pet ID tag should be considered an essential supplement to microchipping! The downshide of microchipping is the information contained in the chip would need to be retrieved by a specialist/vet before your pet can make their way home.
